One of my best presents that I received on Christmas day was this lovely stylish Dyson hot and cold fan from Here at Argos. Now you know that I have been suffering from hot flushes of late ;) and boy have I been moaning about it a lot...no I mean Reeeeeealllly a LOT! I always seem to be boiling hot when everyone else is freezing cold!
So this fan was the perfect present for all of us really!...apart from the fact it looks really funky, it also has no blades, which is very handy if you have little children or stupid dogs! (max tends to put his head up really close to a normal blade fan and tries to lick the air! which can be really scarey lol!)
...But this little number has none of that hassle...it also has a remote, so if I am having a lazy day on the sofa...I do not have to get up to turn it on or off and if I am particularly hot, I can put it on the coldest and then sit on the button and swear blind that i do not know where the remote is to turn it down :D
On the other hand in the mornings when it is Freeeeezing cold, because I am in control of the central heating (or rather I am the only one that has read the instruction book!) I turn it on to hot to take the chill off before the central heating kicks in.
I am really pleased with it as it is very economical to run too, even though the initial expense is a bit on the pricey side (Thank you Mum) It is such a brilliant piece of kit, I felt I had to blog about it!
What was your favourite pressie that you received at Christmas?

Never saw a fan like that before. I don't think I need one right now, but come summer....
ReplyDeleteI'm at that certain age too. I don't have hot flashes but I do sometimes have night sweats and crazy-head feelings. Natural progesterone cream has been my life-saver for the past three years.
Isn't James Tyson so brilliant? I couldn't believe it when he invented this fan without blades..I want one of these..in fact I want more than one..lol..Enjoy yours Happy!
ReplyDeleteSorry..That is Dyson..lol
ReplyDeleteI received wonderful gifts this Christmas. My favorites are the picture calendar highlighting family activities this past year...luv.....and the trick kite from hubs!
ReplyDeleteBy the way a misting spray bottle is very helpful....trust me.
