I have been meaning all week to decorate my Easter Tree, but I havn't got around to it! tut! tut! I have been working like mad and also I have been painting and decorating the garden...for which now I have aches and pains on aches and pains!
Happy Easter from Max the wonder dog (alias Max Snooz'ums)
I have even given Max a trim (above)...ahh don't he look sweet! who would think he was going to be 9 years old in August!
Earlier we went to Bluewater Shopping Center where we looked in John Lewis at all their wonderful Easter decorations...but I just couldn't find any inspiration...until I found the wrapping paper section, for which I bought 1 sheet of fancy paper....so look out later today and I will reveal how I used it!
On Sunday, I am going to my local market to buy some plants for the garden....I have finally won the war with the 'Bindweed'! Thank goodness! and have de-weeded the entire section, I plan to plant a Lavender, a rose bush and a Hydrangea for that section, but I will probably succombe to some other plants, as I am a sucker for anything pink and pretty! (of course I will show you the results!).
Ok ok, so this is a nice piccie anyway of the garden! This was taken in the summer of last year, but since then we have had our usual rain, wind and snow...and the garden looked so bleak and weedy and the grass was about 2ft high! Oooops! so we have really worked hard...I got the whole family and a few of Rosie's friends to help us!:)
I thought Easter would be a quiet time with only Hubs, Rosie, Max and I, but we might have a couple of extra guests now, as well as my Son, which will be nice! and although I am a traditionalist at heart...I don't actually mind having a BBQ on sunday...with good company and a few jugs of Pimm's what more could a gal ask for eh!
Right I will leave you now....and as I have said if I get around to it - I will post about my Easter tree later :) Oh and don't worry gals and guys! I havn't forgotten to post about that Retro Chair!...perhaps next week now!
Happy Easter...and I'll speak to you soon,

We finally got the tree sorted, saturday afternoon!...better late than never!
It was lovely...we all sat around the table, Hubby, Rosie, Daz and I, cutting from wrapping paper onto card, these lovely cups and blue tits!..
We collected the twigs and leaves from the garden and also tied pieces of ribbon and added some vintage buttons...
It turned out a treat!
Your little cloth tent reminds me of what my grandma used to make for me in her yard. Have a wonderful Easter weekend. :D

I love your Easter tree, it's so quirky. I also have an old bike in my garden. It was outside a house with various items to give away so I made my OH ride it home, flat tyre and all.
