Well look what we have here! Liz from the card company that came to the Happy House a couple of months ago has just sent me the samples of the cards that will be in a shop near you soon :)
So like a good girl...I thought I would offer all six cards up for a give-away...two of them are 'Happy Birthday' cards and the other four have been left blank for your own message.
They really have turned out beautiful...Liz Ellis is a Brilliant stylist and pays so much attention to detail and her partner in crime! was the lovely Charles Colmer, a photographer to many leading magazines and card companies.
...and yes that is Max in that card above! Charles was so impressed with him...how placcid he was that when he asked if he could be in one of the piccies...max offered himself wearily by the caravan door (he can't climb the steps! bless!) and next minute Charles was snapping away and Voila!
So if you want a chance to be the first to own a set of these cards, please leave a comment below about what you like to take pictures of or what you have been upto lately in this wonderful weather that we have been having!
I have been away from my blog for a couple of weeks, having fun in the sun mainly...hasn't it been glorious...I have been trying to maintain the garden and I have also been working in the caravan too...but I'll post an update next week :)
Bye for now and have a fun weekend...
I'll be drawing this give-away monday evening 12th july...
See ya soon ;)

Those cards are just fab! Your house and garden are very photogenic and the colours are so happy and vibrant. I love them!!
ReplyDeleteThe cards are so beautiful. They look so happy and sunny and bright just what I need today. It is dreary, cold and overcast and we have months to go before springtime comes.
ReplyDeleteI love those cards. I hope you will share where to find them when they are in stores.
ReplyDeleteOh HAPPY.......how Happy and Gorgeous your cards are. It was very smart of you to think of making your gorgeous vinettes into cards. I sure hope they will be available thru something large in the USA. I would love to even give a set as a gift.....after I have my own, of course. Keep thinking Ms. Happy...you have a good business sense in addition to everything else.
ReplyDeleteHi Love. I'm Marcia. I'm a California girl. I love your caravan! My parents have one in their backyard that I have already claimed as mine. I look at pictures of yours for inspiration. Have a wonderful weekend! Marcia
ReplyDeleteOh wow, how lovely, please add me in. Thanks.

What absolutely gorgeous cards! Definitely VERY HAPPY! I've been reading your blog for the last month or so and love it - such beautiful pictures! And I've also been loving the weather lately and we have spent many evenings after work and school at the beach - just lolling on the sand watching the children dig to Australia or make pebble pictures. So that's what I've been taking most pictures of lately - and the allotment too which is finally getting back into shape!
ReplyDeleteLucy x
WOW! They are fantastically gorgeous
ReplyDeleteJulie xxxxx

I always knew you'd be famous!
ReplyDeleteWhat have I been doing in this lovely weather? Shooting girls holding parasols in poppy fields and running through wheat fields of course!
xx
Oh, Happy, I'd love to win those cards! What have I been up to? I've been flying between Edinburgh (mainly warm with some staggeringly heavy showers) and countryside Toulouse (hot, hot, hot!).
ReplyDeleteAnd in Edinburgh I suspended my 'Challenge of the Utmost Kind' to buy just one magazine, and it was 'your' edition of Homes and Antiques. I did enjoy the article about your home, even though I felt I knew a lot of it from your blog! Somehow it's different to see it on paper, and it was a lovely treat on my flight home.
Hi Happy! These are scrumptious! I've only started taking photographs since I started blogging, so I'm really enjoying snapping everything and anything and feeling amazed when the piccies come out nicely! These are a real inspiration! lots of love, Amanda xxx
ReplyDeleteThose cards are simply irresistable! Don't you just get cheerful and happy just looking at them? I do! And as soon as I see such a happy, colorful scene, I instantly want to redecorate my entire home. I just love replacing my furniture, painting my walls a different color, changing accessories... What can I say, you're an inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSo in response to your question.. guess I'll be busy this weekend! ;-)
Greetings,
Debby

ReplyDeleteI love to photograph my g-kids at this point they are where my camera is always pointed.
just looking at those cards makes my heart sing and my spirits soar! What a lovely abundance of cheerfulness. I'm not a caravan owner but am patiently awaiting the arrival of a summer house - big shed with windows really but hey ho. Inspired by your blog I've been busy with my crochet in the garden - one has to rest between weeding spells - making cushions and blankets for my new outdoor home! Good luck with the book!
ReplyDeleteOh Happy, What lovely unusual cards!! so bright and fresh, my favourites are the Caravan!
ReplyDeleteI promised my friend I would help look after her Craft & Plant Shop 2days this week while SHE went on hols!! Done for friendship, not money, I might add!! but what are friends for:) I really enjoyed it!
Between that, washin, cookin, cleanin, ironin, gardnin, shoppin, craftin, sleepin, blogin and accounts - spot the odd one out hahahahaha
love

Oh my goodness, how pretty, cheerful and bright are thsoe cards, I would never give them away, they are far too nice, I'd keep them and have to put them up at home or even frame them. I have been extremely busy the past week with work and also the site for my home is being dug, the foundations were poured today so builders will be moving on site soon- very exciting but nerve racking too. Thanks for the opportunity to win the lovely cards :) If only my new home will look half as pretty
ReplyDeleteAll things nice...
Those cards are gorgeous and I'd love to put them in frames and hang them along my landing in the new house. Now what do I like taking photos of....anything and everything realy, but especially photos of all the lovely flowers in the gardens as we're out walking the dogs, all those foxgloves, lupins and delphiniums are just waiting to be snapped, Lucey xx

I love them! They are absolutely SENSATIONAL. Your house is absolutely gorgeous. It's like a dream house! Looking at your blog and all the beautiful things you make/own always serves to brighten up my day! It brings a little big of sunshine to the ever-rainy Dublin!
ReplyDeleteI'm an avid letter writer with penpals from childhood all over the world. I'd love to win these cards to bring that little bit of happiness to their days as well!
Hope you're having a lovely summer x
Those cards are so cheery! The little doggie reminds me of "Whiskey" a childhood dog we had in England. I have been spending the summer crocheting up a storm and enjoying all the happy colors everywhere that seem to be jumping out at me!

ReplyDeleteI have mostly being lazing under a fan for the most of this hot weather, because I don't like it, I am more of an Autumn/sprig kind of girl. I did make a felt pixie though and have spent a lot of time looking for work. I take photos mostly of my house and things I like looking at. xxx

ReplyDeleteOur grandsons are my favorite subjects for photos, but some of my favorites by others are vintage caravans/trailers. Have you seen the ones of the group of Cowgirls on the Fly?
ReplyDeleteI kick myself when I think about the vintage looking caravan teapot that was in the Whitard's tea shop on Peascod street in Windsor about 10 years ago. It was about 30 pounds and I kept thinking it would get broken. Wish I'd bought it.
Well I photograph my two dogs quite alot but have tkn photos of the garden for the last 13 years as we created it from scratch..we have two albums of our garden as it has changed by design and throughout the seasons...i love to look back at it! those cards are beautiful by the way, best wishes x
ReplyDeleteOh those cards are simply great. I would love to take part!
ReplyDeleteThe photo I would make is of my collection of floral teacups. Only looking at them makes me happy :-)!
Lieve groet, Madelief
My daughter has been 'looking after' two cuddly toys for school this weekend, chick and bunny. My camera has been busy - chick and bunny at the library, chick and bunny at church, chick and bunny playing pirates and finally - chick and bunny in washing machine....
