Lookee here gals at my Secret Santa wonderful  parcel that I received nearly two weeks ago....but saved for Christmas Day to open! Do you remember that Victoria and Kelly was holding this swap and I helped them with the button for it!

I was sooo excited, as I opened the parcel and never expected at all, what was inside....My Secret Santa partner was Teresa from TCAKES blog....Please go and check her out, she is such a lovely lady.
...and it seems that she knows me so well, what with all the goodies that she had chosen for me....I thought that we had to spend about £10.00 on each other as I am new to this kinda thing! but Teresa went completely overboard and spoilt me rotten (THANKYOU SOOO MUCH T)
I know I know!...I have been blogging for a while, but apart from the occasional give-away! I have never participated in a swap before...and I have been pleasantly surprised, because not only have I received these lovely presents from Teresa....but I also want to get to know her better :)
...Luckily for me, Teresa lives about 10 miles away,  so we could perhaps meet up sometime for Tea and Cake...I'd really like that :)
Amoungst the beautiful pressies, was this lovely Christmas Memories book, I have included some pictures of inside the book including this one below, of the cost of christmas in the 1920's...do please click on it and have a read...it is very interesting.
I love my gifts...and I keep putting them all back in the box and getting them out again! Sad eh!
My partner was the lovely Sophie whom I sent this too, which after receiving Teresa's gifts...I now feel Sophie got a raw deal....I didn't realise that everyone was so generous in these swaps.....so Sophie....I will be sending you some more goodies in the New Year honey - I'll be in touch soon :)
Included in Teresa's  parcel was a tube of malteses...but when I came to photograph it all, they were missing!!!! Hmmm! I'll have to find out where they got too!
Thanks again Teresa, you sure did help to make my christmas wonderful...I am so glad I saved it for Christmas Day.....
Here are a few of my other favourite things...I received an Orla Kiely mug....This is the perfect size for me, as I always leave half a cup of coffee, ready to be knocked over at any moment....this way I am hoping that by only having half as much in the first place....I will actually finish it, rather than leave half of it! LOL! I hope I have made sense there!....This was a lovely gift from my Freddy...
He also gave me this voucher! Oh yes gals! I am one of those people who loves a foot tickle....hehehe! I love the 'NOT TRANSFERABLE' part! :) everytime I ask him to tickle my feet, he says NO! so this will be a complete treat for me!

In the build up to Christmas, we had some snow and lookee here, it made the garden look beautiful...it was lovely going out and about in it...even though, as I have said before, I am such a coward walking over the ice...I managed to sprinkle some good old household salt over the pavement at the front of the house and it cleared the ice away quite quickly, so the Postman was able to get our letters to the door without slipping over! and more to the point - we were all able to walk to the car without falling arse over tit! which could of been quite dangerous, let alone embarrassing!

Did you all have a fab Christmas? What lovely goodies did you receive? Did you receive any handmade presents and if so what were they?  Were you a part of a Secret Santa swap?...let us know if you found a new friend too! I'd love to hear from you all :o]

Love Happy x

  7. Wow, this is a GREAT swap!!!! And she knows what you like! Ah that are the best swaps ever!!!!
I enjoyed reading your post, all the bright pics made me smile.
No Christmas presents here, we celebrate Saint Nicholas on the 5th of December. And than I spoil myself with some lovely presents (hubby doesn't do that, well not anymore I've to say, after the disaster of the gsm I got from him a few years ago but never used. I'm the old fashioned girl who uses only a "normal" telephone.)
Happy, I want to wish you all the best for 2010 and I hope you'll blog a lot!!!!
    Hugs, Elly
