Cute carrier bag!! I love the fabric, it seems to go perfectly with the approaching seasons. I have one too that is stuffed! Maybe I need a 3 footer... x
Maybe we should take to keeping them in the car, then we CAN'T forget them! Your holder could look pretty good in the right kind of car...
When I walk to the shops, I have three tiny fabric bags inside my handbag which unfold to proper carrier-bag size. It's a sort of parachute fabric, I guess.
Anyway, that's a beautiful holder and I need to make a blue one to match my kitchen (the one we have is green and it's been getting on my nerves). Thanks, once again, for the inspiration!
love the fabric on those bags, I love to take bags shopping now instead of those ugly bad plastic bags :) Happy I found your blog, have a great weekend, Catherine x
I know exactly what you mean about remembering to take them with you. I've got round this when I am in a hurry by just grabbing the whole bag store and using what I need when I get there by putting it onto the trolley hook. It may look unusual but at least you don't have to stand at home guessing how many to take. Adele
I would like to think that I'm very green. But it is so hard to remember to take my bags with me so I put them in my car and hopefully I will remember to take them into the store!
Cool bag! I take my Cath Kidston bags I got in Tescos some time ago.The money raised on the sale of these bags went to a cancer charity,so I was doing my bit plus I now have 3 gorgeous CK bags.I do take any plastic bags I get to the supermarket to be recycled though. I put my doggy poo bags in one of those holders and hang it by the door, ready for when we go 'walkies'.
I always forget to bring my bags with me too! Glad to hear I am not the only one. Beautiful blog! Thank you for sharing! I warmly invite you to visit me at my blog anytime. Hugs, Gwyn :)
being green is fun when you can take a different bag shopping everytime you go! Your collection looks wonderful...but yes I do forget sometimes as well...happy weekend to you xoxoxoxo
So pretty. I love the fabric. Just a question though....Is that for your plastic bags or reusable (green) bags? I can never find anywhere to keep my green bags but they have a stiff plastic bottom so they could never fit in a carrier like that. Still trying to solve the problem.
I'm having a giveaway (pretty handbag) at my blog you might be interested in.
I spend too much time figuring out how to re-purpose those darned plastic bags. Ive even stuffed pillows for on my porch with them. Love your long storage unit. smiLes LiBBy BuTTons

ReplyDeleteI made one of those once and it was full of carriers forgotten to be taken for shopping, we in the end used it in the end a supurb draft excluder!
