I have had an article published in their magazine....A new section entitled 'My Vintage pad' if you have a few minutes to spare it might be worth having a look...theres a few extra's in there that you might not know about me!!
We live in one of the three story town houses on the left hand side....and yes that building that they have built next to us does look rather like IKEA, but its actually apartments!...and next to it is a working boatyard where they load up freight to be sent all over the world!
What a pretty place to live...and even your mess is artful! Please say hello to Fred and remind him that he has left his people without our male voice! Vicki at hollyhocks.typepad.com
ReplyDeleteHow charming! No wonder your always so full of creativity and inspiration...look where you live. I love all your button eye candy.
ReplyDeleteMessage for Fred...very disappointing news about your blog. I want to know how your epic quilt went...I sent you a vintage apron from the Avalon Beach Red Cross shop. Anyway, all the best...
ReplyDeleteI can't beleive you live so close to me lol
ReplyDeleteWe get our fish and chips from that chippy all the time, isn't it yummy from there?
We'll have to chat over an email.
Small world sweetie.
Right off to read the interview.

ReplyDeleteOh! Oh! Buttons!!! I¡m a button obssessed too! The jewelery you make with them is BEAUTIFUL! I make necklaces too, and triyng on brooches, ear rings, bracelets..., they are an excuse to keep on buying buttons like a crazy woman!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful home :o) That must be nice overlooking the water, too. I know what you mean about getting the living room messy when crafting! I was sewing last night, and now there are threads all over the floor and fabric scraps all over. My living room is very multipurpose! Hope you're having a great day!

ReplyDeleteAnd I have to say, the picture of your daughter is darling... makes me smile every time I see it!!
I'm the same way whenever I make things. I have to start with a clean space so that I can think but I have a huge mess in no time! It was fun to see your home at Vintage Indie!

Hi Hayley and Fred, Just checking in and hoping that you are both well and happy. Thinking of you. No twins yet. They are behaving and staying put. Vicki at Hollyhocks.typepad.com
ReplyDeleteOh how I love your blog! It's so gorgeous. I did a post on your lovely items a little over a month ago. So what did you make with your crafts? I know what you mean about the messy part. My table looks the same way at this exact moment. Have a nice day! Daisy~
